The EPA ratings for the new Chevrolet Colorado of General Motors is out and according to GM, their new Chevrolet Colorado could be one of the most fuel efficient pickup truck on the market right now.
For the V6 with auto transmission at least. Based on the EPA ratings, the new Chevrolet Colorado does indeed offer at least 3 to 5 mpg more than the other pickup truck.
The Chevrolet Colorado that comes in with a 3.6 liter V6 engine that will be delivering 305hp will be able to deliver 18mpg in the city, 26mpg on the highway and 21mpg combined.
Chevrolet also has plans to introduce the 2.8 liter Duramax turbodiesel to the lineup and that is expected to be even more fuel efficient.
Colorado marketing manager Tony Johnson says that the Colorado is easy to drive, affordable and also very fuel efficient for a pickup truck.
