2016 Mazda CX-3 Teased: Smaller CX-5 Targets Young Buyers
The Mazda CX-3 has finally been announced. The new Mazda CX-5 is the smaller version of the highly popular Mazda CX-5 and will be entering the market above the Mazda 6 but below the Mazda CX-5.
According to Mazda, the Mazda CX-3 will be targeted at those younger buyers who will usually go for something smaller and also cheaper. It will also be running on Mazda’s new SkyActive technology that will give the Mazda CX-3 a better than average drive.
The exterior will probably come with the new Kodo design language that we are familiar with. Although we do not know the exact design of the car, Mazda has been releasing some teaser images that seem to indicate that we might be getting a Mazda CX-3 with a wide mouth grille, long hood and also large wheel arches.
The new Mazda CX-3 will go up against the Honda HR-V, Nissan Juke and Jeep Renegade when it arrives.
The new Mazda CX-3 is expected to make an appearance at the LA Auto Show happening this week.
